Steven Edens, M.D.
Born and raised in Oklahoma, Steven now makes his home in West Palm Beach. He graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Biochemistry from the University of Oklahoma and earned his medical degree cum laude from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He was selected for membership in Alpha Omega Alpha, a prestigious medical honor society. He then completed his internship and residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences where he served as chief resident. Dr. Edens is Board Certified through the American Board of Ophthalmology.
Practicing general ophthalmology, he treats a wide variety of ocular diseases. He also performs various ophthalmic procedures including cataract surgery, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery and pterygium surgery.
He serves on the board of directors at Lighthouse for the Blind of the Palm Beaches and teaches pterygium surgery to ophthalmology residents on a charity basis.
