Pierce was born and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Nova Southeastern University. In addition, Pierce earned a Doctor of Optometry degree and completed his clinical training at Nova Southeastern University. He completed his external training in South Florida, in several private clinics. Pierce is certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry. In addition to the diagnosis and treatment of various eye diseases, Pierce hopes to provide modern and innovative treatment for dry eye and ocular surface diseases. He belongs to the Florida Optometry Association and the American Optometry Association.
